Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least one hour before the scheduled time.
How to do the final revision for the PET exam?
Check exam pattern and syllabus: 100 MCQs of 100 marks are asked in UPSSSC PET. Negative marking of -0.25 is done for every wrong answer. To score better marks in this exam, it is important to understand which sections (like current affairs, mathematics, reasoning, etc.) have scope for scoring more marks.
Solve mock tests and previous years' question papers: This is the most effective way to improve time management, speed, and accuracy.
Choose questions wisely: Solve easy and confidence sections (like GK, Hindi, current affairs) first, leave difficult questions for later. This saves time and reduces stress.
Make short notes: Revise at the last moment from the short notes you made while studying. This will prevent confusion, and the revision will be completed in less time.
Take care of your health: Good sleep, adequate water, and a light diet will help in maintaining concentration. Staying stress free and positive improves performance.
