RRC ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025: East Central Railway (ECR) has released an official notification for recruitment to over 1,100 apprentice positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these positions through the official website of East Central Railway.
The application process is open. The deadline is October 25, 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,149 positions.
Eligibility Criteria for Application
Candidates must have passed Matriculation/10th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates must possess an ITI certificate (issued by NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade.
The age limit is a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 24 years as on October 25, 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates, which is determined separately for each category.
Application Fee
Candidates from all categories will be required to pay a fee of ₹100 for filling out the application form for the RRC ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025, while SC/ST, PwBD, and female candidates are exempted from the application fee.
How will the selection process be conducted?
Candidates applying for a particular category will be listed on a merit list. This list will be based on the average of the percentage marks obtained in the Matriculation (10th) and ITI examinations. Both marks will be given equal weightage.
The percentage will be calculated by calculating the total marks in all subjects in Matriculation. Marks in any one subject or group of subjects will not be considered as the basis.
Who will receive priority in case of equal marks?
If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate will receive priority. If the date of birth is the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation first will receive priority. Original documents of selected candidates will be verified. They will also be required to meet the minimum standards for medical qualification and regulations.
