"The beautifully painted temple walls, and the fascinating hand-carved chariot (carved by two brothers I met at the temple) were a joy to behold. There is so much tradition and talent in Wayanad, it is truly a place for all to visit.," she said.

In a reel shared on Instagram, Congress MP said, "From the scent of vanilla to the softness of sandalwood, the guided garden tours at Banasura Spices & Ayurvedic Garden reveal the magic of Wayanad. It was heartwarming to see the people of Wayanad nurture spices, craft oils, teas and soaps, and share their wisdom - each bloom carrying their love and hard work."
Earlier today, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attended a series of official meetings at the Wayanad Collectorate, engaging with key departments and local stakeholders to address pressing issues in the constituency.
Wayanad MP chaired a DISHA (District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee) meeting and later interacted with officials from the National Health Mission (NHM) and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Speaking after the meetings, Vadra said the sessions had given her a good understanding of local issues in Wayanad.
"It has given me a good understanding of some of the issues here. I met different people: coffee growers, farmers, homestay owners, farm tourism entrepreneurs, and dairy farmers. I have gone to some tribal habitations and understood some of the issues, issues which I could immediately take up," she told reporters.
Priyanka added that the meeting, which lasted 4.5 hours, allowed her to address concerns that could be resolved at the district level, while some matters would need to be escalated to the central government.
"The ones that I have to take up at the Central level, I am also going to take up and keep fighting. As I said, when I was elected here, I had to be the voice of the people of Wayanad, and I am doing my job," Vadra added. (ANI)
