The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced that the online application process for admission to Class 11 for the academic session 2025–27 will begin on April 24, 2025.
Students who wish to take admission in Arts, Science, or Commerce streams can apply through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) portal at ofssbihar.in. The last date to apply is May 3, 2025.
The application window comes shortly after the BSEB released the Matric and Intermediate results in March and April. Students from CBSE, ICSE, or BSEB boards who have passed Class 10 are eligible to apply.
How to apply for Bihar 11th admission 2025
Eligible candidates must fill out the application form online through the official OFSS portal. The application fee is Rs 350, which is a Rs 50 increase from previous years. This fee must be paid online using available digital payment methods. Applications without the fee payment will not be accepted.
Students can apply from any internet-enabled device, including personal laptops, cyber cafes, Vasudha Kendras, or designated District Registration cum Counselling Centres.
Selection and merit list
Once the application process ends, BSEB will release three merit lists based on students' Class 10 marks and applicable reservation categories. The merit lists will determine the allocation of schools and colleges.
If a student’s name does not appear in any of the three lists, they will still have a chance to get admission through the spot admission process.
