"Baahubali: The Epic," a sequel to the Baahubali franchise, has been released. The film combines "Baahubali: The Beginning" and "Baahubali: The Conclusion." Actress Tamannaah Bhatia's famous love song has been omitted. Social media users have raised questions about this. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has responded to the matter.
Several scenes were removed from the film
In a promotional chat with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, SS Rajamouli said, "The film's duration, combined, is approximately five hours and 27 minutes. However, the current version is three hours and 43 minutes long. Key deleted portions include several songs. Several scenes from the war episodes have also been cut."
The film was based on the story.
Rajamouli further said, "Every scene in Baahubali is important, but we wanted the new version to be completely based on the story. The first cut was approximately four hours and ten minutes long." We held a special screening for both cinematic and non-cinema audiences from diverse backgrounds, gathered their feedback, and then reduced it to three hours and 43 minutes.
