Former EastEnders star Samantha Womack was left red-faced minutes into Alan Titchmarsh's Love Your Garden on Sunday.

The actress, 52, who played Ronnie Mitchell on the BBC One soap, appeared on the ITV chat show alongside Les Dennis, where the two talked about their friendship after touring and working together over the years.

Talking about their bond, Samantha declared: "He lets me park my campervan in his driveway!" before adding: "That sounds wrong!"

Samantha then erupted into giggles as she covered her face admitting: "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that, sorry!" as she continued to laugh with Les, 71, joking: "Sam's lost it now!"

Meanwhile, host Alan, 76, attempted to get things back on track as he discussed the time the two actors toured and performed together in The Addams Family musical.

Samantha played Morticia Addams while Les played Uncle Fester.

Samantha is best known for playing the fan-favourite role of Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders, but was sadly killed off on New Year's Day in 2017 along with her sister Roxy.

They both died in a dramatic swimming pool accident at Ronnie's wedding to Jack Branning.

It comes as Samantha recently revealed that she gets stopped in the street and warned about her Emmerdale actor boyfriend, Oliver Farnworth, who plays the role of a serial killer in the ITV soap.

Samantha’s partner Oliver is now involved in his own soap scandal as he has committed several murders in the Dales as character John Sugden.

The actress has since revealed that she has been ‘warned’ about him as she gave an insight into their relationship.

She told The Sun:"I do get warned about him. But Oli is actually so strict about confidentiality. So he comes back every few days, and he won’t tell me what’s happening with anything. He’s like ‘I just can’t let you know,’ and I’ll say ‘come on, I’m not going to tell anybody.’"

Samantha continued: "But I really think this is one of his favourite jobs to date. I visited the set and it’s beautiful. They have rolling hills and cute cottages. It’s very different to EastEnders. And what is funny is he gets a lot of attention when he goes up north, but when we go down south everyone knows me from EastEnders so it changes where we go."

The couple have been dating since 2019 after co-starring in The Girl On The Train on London's West End stage.

Alan Titchmarsh's Love Your Garden continues on Sundays at 9:30am on ITV and ITV X.
