A woman selling used trainers alleges that a Florida man ran her overwhen she refused to let him smell her feet.
Elmoncy Sercle was arrested after a woman he met on a dating app claimed he ran her over after he briefly fled the hotel room they had agreed to meet up in. The pair had arranged their first meeting for August 24 in the Aventura hotel. It was here that Sercle was accused of attacking the womanhe met on Seeking.com, according to an arrest affidavit reviewed by PEOPLE.
The woman, who is also a foot model, told police that once Sercle had entered the hotel room Sercle asked to smell her feet and buy her used trainers, the affidavit states.

“When I got there, he just wanted to sniff my feet and I didn’t feel comfortable with that,” the woman told Local 10.
“I mean, you could have my sneakers all you want," she added, "and you know, they’re just stinky old sneakers. But people like weird things.”
She told Sercle, 28, it would cost him $1,000 (£744) and that her trainers were in her car.
On leaving him to use the bathroom, the 28-year-old fled the hotel room. The woman then chased him thinking he had stolen one of her belongings, she told police.
Running outside she then found him in the car park, where he drove past her in a red SUV before allegedly turning the car and running her over, according to investigators.
She suffered road rash and bruising across her arms and chest.
Sercle allegedly fled the scene but was arrested on August 28 after he tried to book a room at the same hotel, the affidavit states.
Police say he has been linked to other incidents which mirror a similar method of attack, but online records did not indicate charges related to those.
He has been charged with aggravated battery in connection with the incident and has pleaded not guilty, according to online court records.
