A new teaser clip has unveiled the devastating moment when favourite Darren Osborne (played by Ashley Taylor-Dawson) discovers his daughter Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) is a victim of sexual exploitation.

The soap has been shedding light on the two primary forms of exploitation that UK teenagers are susceptible to: criminal and sexual.

Teen characters Frankie and Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) have found themselves ensnared in an exploitative scenario after being targeted by criminals who showered them with attention and gifts.

Once drawn into the gang's web, the friends were coerced into drug addiction.

This dependency led them down a dark path, initially pushing drugs to sustain their habit, which eventually spiralled into sexual exploitation, reports .

Viewers know that DI Banks (Drew Cain) is the mastermind behind this shady operation, holding Frankie, Dillion, Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence), and Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Werham) captive in a Manor House.

In a scene from Monday's episode (May 21), Darren arrives at Fernmere and, with Kat's assistance, finds himself guided upstairs into a concealed room.

Inside, the horrifying truth of Frankie's predicament hits Darren as he discovers his terrified, semi-clothed daughter on a bed.

Hollyoaks spoilers reveal that Darren pledges to rescue Frankie from this perilous situation next week, but the gravity of their circumstances hangs heavy.

Vicky, Dillon and Robbie have a chance encounter with Darren and Frankie as they struggle for their freedom, but the reunion is cut short when DI Banks' henchmen show up.

A brawl ensues, with Darren and Robbie taking on the gang members, leaving Darren's fate hanging in the balance.
