Gogglebox returned to Channel 4 earlier this month with the beloved families tuning into the latest television offerings. However, couple Roisin and Joe, who became part of the cast in 2022 were notably absent from this series.
The Glasgow duo, both in their twenties, have been together for five years after moving into Joe's family residence when the coronavirus pandemic began. Roisin co-presents her own podcast titled 'Nags and Brags' alongside a mate and also operates as a social media producer.
Revealing when the pair joined Gogglebox on social media, Roisin declared: "I still cannot quite believe this is happening or that we kept it a secret or that so many people will have seen me looking like a baked bean! Gbox here we come."

She presents her programme with broadcaster Cassi Gillespie, who fronts the Clyde One morning show from Glasgow.
The podcast explores various subjects from romantic troubles to style catastrophes, reports Wales Online.
Whilst the programme has paused, Cassi informed the Scottish Sun it should return imminently, stating: "Roisin is so busy with Gogglebox and I'm busy with Clyde, so it's hard to find the time.
"It will definitely come back though, it serves a good purpose. We get people asking me about the podcast all the time.
"When it comes back I would love it to be visual, it needs to come back visual."
Roisin has previously given fans a peek inside her eccentric home, which boasts vibrant cushions and artwork, injecting splashes of colour throughout. Her followers have praised her for her flawless wardrobe selections and stunning home decor.
They also rallied around her during a challenging period when she shared on TikTok about her car being wrecked by an "irresponsible" driver.
A photograph depicted her vehicle in a battered state after it was rammed into a tree due to a rear-end collision.
Fortunately, the car was unoccupied at the time. One individual commented on her Instagram post: "Cars can be fixed, as long as you're okay, that's the main thing," while another chimed in: "Hellish, hope you're okay."
As for Joe, he seems to be absent from social media, but Channel 4 reports that he enjoys playing video games, making pizza and spending quality time with Roisin.
It comes as Roisin Kelly has lifted the lid on the reality behind her and Joe's shocking departure from the Channel 4 programme earlier this month.
In a 'get ready with me' TikTok clip, she addressed their sudden exit after three-and-a half-years, revealing the genuine circumstances surrounding their departure.
Roisin began the video by explaining: "Obviously Gogglebox was back on last night and we seen a lot of comments saying 'where are Joe and Roisin'. We were 'brutally axed'.
"We weren't asked back to do series 26. They had just said they wanted to take the show in another direction, away from our house. There's not really any lore or any stories to it."
The duo have maintained a remarkably upbeat attitude about the circumstances, with Roisin recently updating her Instagram biography to read 'brutally axed from Gogglebox'.
