Lee Mack was shocked after a contestant accidentally 'revealed' he has two girlfriends live on The 1% Club . In a recent episode of the ITV show, comedian and presenter Lee was quick to question the contestant about his supposed infidelity as he tried to discern whether he was joking or not.
When Lee asked the contestant what his plans would have been with the prize money, the individual revealed he planned on spoiling his 'two girlfriends' by taking them out to restaurants. The person said: "Got two girlfriends, take them both out to restaurants, but separate dates."
A few burst into laughter, but Lee's jaw dropped to the floor as he said: "Now I'm trying to work out if you're joking or not."

The contestant, called Abdul, asked: "Is this on TV or not?" as Lee responded: "Oh, this is definitely going on TV."
The contestant then slyly insisted: "Just edit it to say my girlfriend." While playing along, host Lee advised: "Oh, that's a good idea. Just play it safe, you never know. Just say one this time."
He then asked his initial question again to give the contestant a chance to save himself, leaving Abdul to say: "I'm taking my sweetheart out to dinner." Not missing a beat, Lee quipped: "Ah, what about the other one?"

When Abdul said he had no idea what Lee was talking about, Lee said: "Yes you do. What's your girlfriend called?" Abdul insisted he couldn't tell Lee her name, and the host responded: "You can't remember, you're getting mixed up between all the different names, aren't you?"
Many fans thought the moment was hilarious, taking to X/Twitter to post laughing emojis. Some were less than impressed and said: "He came across as a bit of a t**t. Hope they both dumped him."
Another said: "Maddd." The 1% Club was recently announced as a nominee for Best Quiz Show at the National Television Awards this year, with public voting now open.
Other popular shows in the running include The Chase, Richard Osman's House of Games, and Michael McIntyre's The Wheel.
Since the game show started in 2022, it bagged two National Television Awards and spawned international versions in the US and Australia, among others.
The game's format involves posing questions that have already been answered by the general public to 100 studio contestants, each starting with a £1,000 stake.
Lee fires off 15 questions of escalating difficulty, with the first being what 90% of the population answered correctly and the last one being what only 1% got right.
