Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) is working on a fresh conspiracy to revive its network under a project codenamed “Operation 313.” According to intelligence reports, the group has set a target of raising nearly 4 trillion Pakistani rupees to rebuild its infrastructure and expand its reach.
Plans Under Operation 313
-
Jaish is planning to establish 313 madrasas and nearly 150 terrorist training camps.
-
These institutions are to be set up largely in border regions of Pakistan.
-
The outfit aims to construct more than 30 high-tech madrasas and camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) before the end of this year.
Funding Trail
TV9 Bharatvarsh has accessed receipts showing funds collected for Operation 313. Each JeM supporter is reportedly being asked to contribute 21,000 Pakistani rupees. The group has been mobilizing money not only from Pakistan but also from abroad, with major inflows from the Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, UAE, and Bangladesh.
Digital accounts are also being used to channel funds, while the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is monitoring suspicious transactions.
Background and Revival Attempt
After the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor, which dismantled JeM’s networks and severely weakened the group. In response, JeM chief Masood Azhar has now initiated Operation 313 to revive the organization and rebuild its bases.
The outfit has also issued calls on social media, urging its cadres and sympathizers to unite and support the operation.
