The doctor said that the neck, skin and muscles as well as bones, are missing from the body of the deceased. It is believed that animals must have scratched the body. A sharp weapon has been used in the murder. Considering the possibility of rape, samples have also been sent to the lab for investigation.

On August 11, Manisha went to a college located near Play Way School to take admission in B.Sc, but she went missing on the way. At the same time, her mobile phone also switched off. In between, the phone turned on for some time, but then it switched off. When the family complained about Manisha's disappearance to the police, instead of searching for her, the police avoided it saying that she must have run away with someone and will return on her own. Angered by this negligence of the police, the family and villagers staged a protest outside the civil hospital . During this, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP Dharambir Singh and former SP Manbir Singh reached the spot, but no official statement was given by the police administration. After this, on late Friday evening, the government transferred SP Manbir Singh and a total of five policemen, including the SHO, a female ASI, were suspended for negligence.
