Donald Trump revealed in a live broadcast shown on the BBC that he received an MRI scan during his recent October visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This revelation has sparked fresh concerns about the president's health and the White House's lack of transparency.
In a shocking disclosure, the 79-year-old characterized the results as "perfect," though an X user pointed out that MRIs aren't typically included in standard physical examinations unless there's a specific medical concern warranting additional investigation.
American journalist Ed Krassenstein posted a video of Trump addressing US news reporters and remarked: "BREAKING. Trump admits that he was given an MRI during his October Walter Reed visit. MRIs are not routine. They are given when a problem is suspected or to rule out a condition. We need more transparency. Why was the MRI given?".

This represents Trump's second significant medical appointment at the facility this year, after undergoing a comprehensive physical in April. The regularity of his medical evaluations, coupled with the choice to perform advanced imaging, has intensified speculation that the visit may have encompassed more than standard screening procedures.
Addressing reporters aboard Air Force One today, Trump acknowledged: "I got an MRI. It was perfect," reports the Express.
When pressed about the purpose of the scan, he responded: "You can ask the doctors."
Trump also branded House Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as "low IQ" before proposing she undergo the "very hard" cognitive assessments that he successfully completed. "If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams that I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed," he said, before elaborating on the test.
"Those are very hard... The first couple of questions are easy. A tiger, an elephant, a giraffe, you know. When you get up to about five or six, and then when you get up to 10 and 20 and 25, they couldn't come close to answering any of those questions."
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Trump had been diagnosed with a medical condition known as chronic venous insufficiency. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that Trump had observed swelling in his legs, which led him to consult his doctor, who confirmed the diagnosis.
Chronic venous insufficiency is a condition where the leg veins do not efficiently return blood back to the heart, resulting in pooling in the lower limbs. It's a "benign and common" condition, particularly in older individuals.
