Hyperoptic internet down: Broadband crashes across UK for thousands

Hyperoptic internet is down for thousands of broadband customers throughout the UK, admitting it is facing "service disruptions in a number of areas".

The broadband provider wrote on X: "We're currently facing service disruptions in a number of areas. Our team is on it and working hard to get everything back up and running. We'll keep you posted with any updates right here. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding!" Several customers have also taken to X to complain that they are suffering outages.
