Jaipur: After selling 98 industrial plots under the new direct allotment scheme on April 4 for the MoU holders of the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit, RIICO's routine e-auctions held Thursday and Friday fetched over Rs 300 crore with the sale of 182 plots. With the latest sales, RIICO's revenues from plot allotments rose to Rs 650 crore in the past two months, said RIICO.

To facilitate the availability of land, RIICO introduced a Direct Land Allotment Policy-2025, which is applicable in 98 industrial areas. However, after encountering demand for plots beyond these 98 industrial areas, RIICO conducted e-auctions where many Rising Rajasthan investors also participated, said RIICO in a release.

The plots were allotted in industrial areas including Punayata and Falna Jadri (Pali), Sukher (Udaipur), Parbatsar (SGC), Nagaur, Rayla (Bhilwara), Growth Center Dholpur (Bharatpur), Baran and Indraprastha (Kota), Karauli and Khushkheda in Bhiwadi, EPIP Sitapura Industrial Area, Bagru (Chhitroli) in Jaipur South, Kolila Joga (Neemrana), Kishangarh Phase IV, Ghiloth, Growth Center II (Abu Road), and Thanagazi Industrial Area (Alwar).

RIICO is set to open allotment for commercial, institutional, hospital, hotel, educational, and retail plots for the MoU holders from next month. "Considering the interest of the investors who signed MoUs under Rising Rajasthan in non-industrial plots, RIICO has been holding discussions with each of them to assess their land needs," said RIICO.

Besides direct allotment, RIICO is also planning to conduct auctions for non-industrial plots for investors in the education, tourism, and healthcare sectors. "RIICO is preparing to auction around 500 plots for small and medium investors, with the process expected to start within a week. These plots are planned for hospitals, shops, commercial complexes, educational institutions, and other uses," it said.
