Jaipur: State govt has formulated a comprehensive roadmap for its Viksit Rajasthan-2047 vision by organising 45 major departments into 14 strategic sectors, said Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Friday. This blueprint aims at aligning the state's development goals with PM Narendra Modi's Viksit Bharat-2047 initiative that he announced during his Independence Day address, added Sharma.
Chairing a high-level meeting at his residence, the CM said a state-level steering committee headed by the chief secretary has been constituted to monitor the progress of this vision. He noted that the vision document was developed in coordination with all relevant departments and further refined with inputs from NITI Aayog.
Sharma emphasised that the ten resolutions were presented in the 2024-25 state budget form the foundation of the Viksit Rajasthan framework. Future budgets, he said, will continue to reflect this long-term vision. He also called for a phased implementation strategy, starting with a focused roadmap for 2030 to lay the groundwork for achieving the 2047 goals.
