Xiaomi recently expanded its smart TV portfolio in India with the launch of Fire OS-powered smart TV — QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch in India. On paper, the smart TV promises a lot of premium features but comes at an affordable price tag of Rs 39,999. With a sharp 4K QLED panel , immersive sound, and Fire TV OS built-in, it promises to deliver an all-in-one entertainment experience without breaking the bank. We used the Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch smart TV for sometime and here’s our complete review of the same.
Design and display
Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch features a sleek and modern design which seamlessly blends into your contemporary living rooms. The smart TV comes with a slim profile and is surrounded by slim bezels on all sides. Due to the slim bezels you get maximum screen-to-body ratio and a more immersive TV viewing experience. The smart TV definitely has a thick bottom, where the company has placed all the internal circuits of the device. It comes with two L-shaped stands and can also be mounted on the wall. The Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch offers multiple connectivity ports which include two USB 2.0 ports, 1 Ethernet and AV port, 3 HDMI ports, 1 port for earphones and 2 Antenna ports. Along with this, the device also offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. All these ports are placed on the rear of the device at the bottom. The minimalist design and near bezel-less display of the TV makes sure that the viewers don't shift their attention from the content to anything else.
Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch comes with a user-friendly remote control. The remote easily connects with smart TV and offers responsive control. The remote includes dedicated keys for Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and more. The lightweight Alexa-enabled remote also includes a full numeric keypad which will be liked by many.
Coming to the display, the Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro comes in two display sizes — 55-inch and 43-inch. We got the 55-inch unit for testing. The 55-inch 4K QLED panel delivers vibrant visuals with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and DCI-P3 94% wide colour gamut support. The large display offers ample screen real estate for an immersive cinematic experience. Colours are rich, blacks are deeper than standard LED TVs, and brightness levels are impressive for the price tag. The smart TV offers up to 60Hz refresh rate which ensures smooth motion during fast-paced scenes, making it ideal for sports and gaming. Viewing angles are decent, though there’s some colour shift at extreme angles.
Performance
Talking about the innards, Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch is powered by a quad-core A55 chipset. The smart TV packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It has a user-friendly interface and the apps also load quickly. Navigating through menus and switching between inputs is generally fluid. While it’s not a gaming TV per se, it handles console inputs well with minimal input lag for most users. The 34W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS:X deliver clear, room-filling sound with decent bass. Whether you're binge-watching a series, streaming live sports, or casting content from your phone, the FX Pro handles it all with reliable speed, clarity, and responsiveness.
The Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch runs on Fire TV OS, offering a smooth, intuitive interface with access to over 12,000 apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and YouTube. The integration of Alexa voice assistant—available in English, Hindi, and Hinglish—makes content discovery and smart home control effortless. Features like Picture-in-Picture (PIP) for security camera feeds, AirPlay 2, and Miracast support add to its versatility. While Fire TV is optimised for Amazon services, users accustomed to Google TV may find the ecosystem slightly limiting. Still, the overall experience is responsive, ad-free, and tailored for streaming-first households.
Verdict
The Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro 55-inch comes with a price tag of Rs 39,999. The smart TV is one of the few Fire TVs available in the market that offers relatively all high-end features at this price. Along with this, its minimalistic design and interactive operating system act as an added advantage. So, if you are looking for a smart TV with 4K resolution and a 55-inch display and have a budget of Rs 40,000 then this TV can surely be your pick.
