Virat Kohli 's popularity knows no geographical limits and the fact is further cemented by a recent event: an invitation for a collaboration from MrBeast , the world's most subscribed YouTuber. Shared on X during the Indian Premier League (IPL), the post rapidly went viral, accumulating nearly 600K views, a testament to Kohli's universal recognition.

“@imVkohli Hey! Anyway I could get you in a video? 👀” he said in a post on X.

MrBeast wants Virat Kohli in his video because ‘he's a mega star’
This is not the first instance of MrBeast, whose real name is James Donaldson, expressing his desire to collaborate with Kohli. During a past podcast appearance with Ranveer Allahbadia, the American YouTuber specifically mentioned his wish to film a video with the cricketer.

“Truthfully, he makes a ton of money, which shocker, he's one of the biggest Instagram accounts ever,” he said when asked about what he knows about Kohli.

Kohli, a global sporting icon with an immense social media presence – his Instagram following alone totals 271 million – has yet to team up with MrBeast.

“I've heard that he's a mega star here. Phenomenal cricket player,” he added.

MrBeast, whose YouTube channel boasts a massive following of 387 million subscribers, is a prominent figure in social media. He has previously collaborated with numerous high-profile personalities from the sporting world, including football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, formerly of Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Apart from Kohli and Ronaldo, MrBeast has expressed his admiration for the late Kobe Bryant and said that the basketball star is the “MrBeast of sports” due to Bryant's relentless work ethic and dedication.
