Two Army soldiers have gone missing after being caught in a severe snowstorm during an operation in the higher reaches of the Kishtwar range in South Kashmir .
According to a statement from the Chinar Corps, the incident occurred on the intervening night of October 6 and 7, when an operational team faced extreme weather, including a whiteout and heavy snowfall, in the mountainous region.
