During the Gaza peace summit in Sharm el-Sheikh , Egypt on Monday, US President Donald Trump and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto had a private one-on-one conversation—unaware that it was being picked up by a live microphone.

In the exchange, Prabowo mentioned Donald Trump Jr., the eldest of Donald Trump’s five children, and Eric Trump , the middle child, noting that a certain region was “not safe, security-wise,” and asked, “Can I meet Eric?” The Independent reported.

Eric's name came up several times during their discussion.

Trump responded, “I’ll have Eric call. Should I do that? He’s such a good boy.” Prabowo then said, “We’ll look for a better place,” to which Trump repeated, “I’ll have Eric call you.” At one point, Prabowo clarified, “Eric or Don Jr.?”.

Both Eric and Donald Jr. serve as trustees and executive vice presidents of the Trump Organization, which operates in real estate, hospitality, and blockchain ventures. In Indonesia, the company manages a golf club near the capital, Jakarta, with another golf and resort property in Bali listed as “coming soon” on its website.

It remains unclear from the audio whether the conversation referred to the Trump Organization or any specific business dealings involving the Trump family.
